Windows: After clicking on the appropriate screen resolution, place your cursor on top of the image, hold down the right mouse button and select "set as wallpaper" or "set as background".
Mac: After clicking on the appropriate screen resolution, hold down the control key and click (or right-click) your mouse button over the image to bring up a pop-up menu allowing you to "Save Image As . . .". When the image is saved, launch System Preferences and click "Appearance". From there you can select the image you have saved to the desktop as your background.
